Inside a School Day: A Breakdown of What to Expect

Students are grouped into multi-age cohorts spanning Kindergarten to 2nd grade, 3rd to 5th grade, and 6th to 8th grade. Students immerse themselves in a rich curriculum covering reading, writing, math, language arts, science, history, bible study, time outdoors, free play and a variety of arts subjects that rotate each semester. This integrated approach allows for simultaneous learning across multiple disciplines.

On Wednesdays, they receive take-home assignments focused on reading, writing, art, and math. The workload for students varies according to their age, reflecting our commitment to preserving childhood and prioritizing time outdoors during their time away from school.

We prioritize monthly gatherings, which may include field trips, nature hikes, or enjoyable group activities. Recognizing that learning thrives in diverse environments, our commitment stems from a deep desire to nurture the holistic development of each individual.

At home on Mondays and Fridays, the focus is primarily on math and language arts. Many parents appreciate these days as they offer opportunities for interest-driven learning and exploration of additional endeavors such as typing, habit training, extracurricular pursuits, and more. These days also serve as a unique opportunity for parents to actively engage in their children's learning journey, fostering a sense of joy and partnership.

"Your greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do, but someone you raise."
